Day 128: Minimal harmony: Caroline Gomez

“My creations are often described as simple and minimalist, asserting a strong visual identity and a logical relationship between manufacturing process and what my objects have to tell. My work is rooted in daily life and present time through the uses and pleasures it focuses on. My creations intend to de-clutter our daily environment. It is a quest of balance so as to reduce the object to what’s essential. This search for perfect minimal harmony is the driving force in my work. I like to play with the limits the fields of design have to offer as well as free myself from conventional barriers, so I can get to build a rich, poetic and personal world.”
