Day 326: Amazing outdoor libraries and bookstores from all around the world

“At long last, the weather is warming up, allowing for long walks, open windows, and (of course) the return of reading outside. But there’s yet another pleasure that you may not have tried — browsing for books outside! After the jump, you’ll find a selection of libraries and bookstores from all around the world that say “phooey” to the rain and operate in the open air, perfect for those bookworms who prefer gentle breezes to that typical bookstore musk. Nothing against the musk, but it just doesn’t get much more glorious than picking out a new book in front of a warm summer sunset. Click through to check out 20 wonderful outdoor book depositories, and add any of your missing favorites in the comments.”

Day 323: Bang on!

“Owners Simon Ward and Dennis Ferreira, who were previously comrades at fine dining spot Vue du Monde, have taken a more relaxed approach to their own venue. They talk of their food as being “fresh, simple and generous”, a description which could easily be applied to the interior design of H&T. Hanging vines and a wall of wooden slats bring the place to life, adding organic colour to the mineral canvas of marble and tile. On the menu you’ll find similarly hearty dishes – rustic with a modern twist – which can be enjoyed in three distinct rooms. The main dining hall, corridor bar and sunroom offer patrons a choice of environments, but all benefit from their fair share of light and au naturel décor. It all works very well together.”

Day 321: Minimal Photography Inspiration By Mac Oller

Minimal photography Inspiration is a collection that showcases the most creative and minimal photographs of Mac Oller. I personally adore minimal photos because they just focus on the subject which makes it a peaceful and relaxing process to stare at a minimal image. Mac Oller was born in 1986 in Poland and he currently lives in Sopot witch is located in the Baltic Coast. He is Self taught photographer, specializing mainly in landscape, cityscape and fine art photography. Often uses long exposure technique photographing in poor lighting or with use of strong neutral density filters. His photrographies are pure in form, have an impeccable composition and are moody, calm and still.
